Abu Dhabi-based NMDC Group, a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction, and marine dredging, has been awarded a $610.1 million contract for large-scale dredging and land reclamation works in Manila Bay, Philippines. The contract was awarded by the Pasay Harbor City Corporation (PHCC) and is part of the ambitious Harbor City Project in Pasay City.
The contract will see NMDC Group carry out extensive dredging and reclamation operations, supporting the development of Harbor City, one of Manila Bay’s most significant urban and infrastructure initiatives. The project is expected to enhance the area’s accessibility, create new land for development, and contribute to Manila’s broader economic growth strategy.
